This painting appeared spontaneously – as if it had sprouted on the canvas itself. I simply followed the sensations: fog, silhouettes of trees, cool air. Texture paste created relief – like bark, like roots, like traces of the past. Colors and shapes appeared in the process of work – not for the mind, but for the senses. « Mystical Forest » is a place between sleep and reality, between fear and peace. You can get lost in it, but you can also find yourself. While creating this work, I felt a strange silence inside, almost meditation. This painting is like a look into the depths of yourself, where everything is shaky, but honest. « Mystical forest » Structural paste painting, 33 x 46 cm, unframed. Materials: linen canvas, structural paste, acrylic, varnish. Structural paste is applied to a canvas measuring 33 cm x 46 cm, then acrylic paint is applied, and a protective layer of varnish completes the picture. The edges of the painting are painted, and there’s a hook-ready to hang. The painting is signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
